Kristin is an expert at English and the Internet. Our resident wordsmith, Kristin holds a couple degrees in her own language and Creative Writing. In addition to finding her way around a sentence, she also helps out as a project organizer and content strategist. Dump a pile of information on her desk, and she’ll find a way to make it make sense, but not before asking a lot of questions first. Her favorite part of the job, and the world, is getting to know what people want and how they work. Her second favorite part is helping them communicate that.
She became a Whale in early 2012 after being in just the right place at just the right time. The aforementioned right place: Chicago, where she’s lived since 2005 and hopes to never leave, because it’s the best city in the world. She’s a graduate of Princeton University, with an MA from the University of Chicago, and an active youth literacy mentor.
