A unique launch party for the CSUMB site

October 28, 2010
The new Cal State Monterey Bay site has launched, accompanied by some quite unusual pomp and circumstance.

We often tell our clients that redesigning a Web site doesn’t have to be a traumatic experience— with enough planning, and plenty of hard work at the times when it’s needed, it can actually be fun!

We tell our clients this, and sometimes they believe us and sometimes they don’t. But California State University, Monterey Bay knew it before they hired us.  They had their ducks lined up so early in the process, and had such great confidence in their knowledge of what they needed and how to get there, that every step of working with them was a complete pleasure.

We’ve been in this business a long time, and we’ve never had a client with their level of confidence and determination.  As a result, the CSUMB site redesign was one of the quickest we’ve ever undertaken— just a few months from start to finish— and they launched on time and very smoothly.

When your brain’s not busy worrrying about a redesign, you have the time to have fun. And their launch party was fun indeed!  The party, held on Monday the 25th, featured a giant pair of scissors and a presidential ribbon-cutting!  Three of us attended, and Jason brought his family, and it was lots of fun for everyone.
