Welcome to our Haverford.edu redesign blog.
In collaboration with our colleagues on the Haverford College Web project team, we plan to use this Web site to present designs, application specs, and assorted supporting documents and ideas to the public.
We welcome all comments, positive and negative; we trust the discussions at this blog will always be constructive. For that reason, we aren't moderating comments, though we do reserve the right to adjust moderation settings as we go. And we ask (but do not require) that commenters include both first and last name.
In particular, this site is intended as a resource for the greater Haverford community— students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and friends. The site is open to the public, and we invite comments from everyone; however, for those of you who aren't affiliated with Haverford, we ask that you keep in mind that Haverford is our primary audience. (For those of you who are part of the Haverford community, please let us know in your comments.)
In their current form, the provisionally approved site designs reflect a great deal of early input from the Haverford community, as well as months of review and discussion by a dedicated Haverford project team (including faculty and student representatives). We are excited to solicit feedback, which we think will only improve designs that we are already happy with; we also know that you can't please all the people all the time. We're hoping to strike the right balance, and we're sure you will let us know how we're doing in that effort.
Thanks for visiting, and for helping us create the new Haverford.edu.
